MoveIt® Completes Superbowl Distribution

Is there anything more American than football and Gatorade? MoveIt® was selected to coordinate the delivery and removal of Gatorade® beverage coolers to Cowboys Stadium in Arlington for Superbowl XLV.

The white-glove deliveries included more than 20 coolers placed at multiple locations in the Dallas, TX area.

An Exciting Move

Although unique deliveries are commonplace for the MoveIt® team, this Gataorade® delivery posed unique, exciting challenges that required strategic thinking.

“These are not your ordinary deliveries,” said Shell Dornath, MoveIt® Freight Solutions Operations Manager. “Our team consolidated coolers of various sizes at our Dallas distribution center, then delivered them under very specific time requirements.” Dornath added, “Many of the deliveries involved unpacking and setting units in place in restricted access locations.”

When the game was over, the hot dogs had all been eaten, the teams were celebrating and beer had run out, the coolers were removed from their locations and returned to the MoveIt® Freight Solutions Dallas distribution center. 2011 is the third year the MoveIt® Companies have been selected to perform these deliveries.
