We firmly believe that those who succeed should give back to their communities, so we work hard to continually contribute to locally, nationally and internationally.
We Stand with Ukraine
MoveIt® has friends and customers who have direct and indirect ties to Ukraine. Our hearts go out to them, their families, and everyone swept up in this horrible war. We gave $5,000 to World Central Kitchen - an organization started by chefs to help feed hungry people who are adversely affected by natural disasters, humanitarian crisis and climate change. They are currently on the front lines in Ukraine and Poland, feeding people hot meals. Join us and make a donation here.

Our Local Community
MoveIt® has always been a good corporate citizen in our local communities. We believe that local giving benefits us all! We have been a long-time strong supporter of local schools, libraries, hospitals, churches, scout groups, civic organizations and fund raisers for many good causes.
Grant Park Trail
The Grant Park Trail is an ongoing community project that will connect the City of Auburn with Grant Park. MoveIt® donated $10,000 to the project and provides ongoing support through volunteer and event opportunities with the belief that the trail will allow communities to connect, businesses to flourish, and families to thrive.
Commitment to Youth
Breda Day Care Center
In 1992 MoveIt® was instrumental in establishing the Breda Day Care Center, a local non-profit day care facility, to provide a local licensed daycare solution for MoveIt® employees and area families. MoveIt® continues to invest in its ongoing success.
4-H
MoveIt® has been a loyal supporter of our local 4-H chapters. 4-H has grown into a community of 6 million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. 4-H can be found in every county in every state, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and over 80 countries around the world. 4-H'ers participate in fun, hands-on learning activities.
Girl Scouts of America
With an annual donation to the local chapter and a variety of donations to ongoing projects, MoveIt® supports the Girl Scouts of America and their dedication to giving young women the opportunity to grow and explore.
Local Libraries
MoveIt has regularly donated to municipal and school libraries.
Health and Wellness
American Cancer Society - Relay for Life
Since 1994 we have sponsored a Relay for Life team to raise money for the American Cancer Society. In 2004 those efforts took on a greater meaning when two of our co-workers lost their lives to cancer. Today our efforts are dedicated to their memories. In 2009 our county raised the most money, per capita, of any Relay for Life team, and our team was awarded the Spirit Award.
Employee Wellness
A healthy workplace is a happy workplace. The MoveIt® Wellness Group is managed by employees and provides a focus on a healthy lifestyle with incentives for exercise, eating right, low-cost health screenings and an onsite fitness center for employees and their families.
Environmental Stewardship
We have always had a strong commitment to both the local and global environment - from underwriting the construction of a local conservation education center, to building a new, sustainable, state-of-the-art office building. We have sponsored a local countryside trail for walking and biking, planted trees, and supported nationwide conservation groups.
In 2012 as part of the Black Hawk Lake Protection Association, MoveIt® purchased the land around our headquarters to make a wetland area that filters runoff from the farmland that surrounds our building. The result is a cleaner, healthier and more natural environment!
Our paperless initiative started in June of 2005. MoveIt® developed a paperless initiative to reduce paper usage. Steps of planning included the development of an electronic order system, use of a document scanning system and digital filing system. By March 2010, overall paper usage was reduced by more than 60 percent.
Raccoon River Watershed Association
Air and water quality are very important to us and the principal members of MoveIt® are active in the RRWA, a group committed to improving the water quality of the Raccoon River Watershed.
Pheasants Forever
Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.
Ducks Unlimited
MoveIt® supports Ducks Unlimited, the world leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation. Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
Iowa Environmental Council
The Iowa Environmental Council educates, advocates and builds coalitions to raise awareness, generate action and impact policy to make Iowa a better place to live, work and explore.
