In fact, you’ll be hard-pressed to find two people that don’t know each other! Whether you’re stopping into Dolly’s for dinner or studying up in the Auburn Public Library, you’ll never feel like a stranger in Auburn.

A Community of Nature Lovers

Just five minutes from downtown Auburn, Grant Park is a treasure to the surrounding communities. With hiking trails on the North Raccoon River and countless places to bike, run and soak up the sun, Grant Park is a beloved year-round attraction. During the winter, cross-country skiers take to the trails. During the summer, well – everyone’s there!

So what is the Grant Park Trail, and why are we so excited about it? The Grant Park Trail is an ongoing community project that will connect the City of Auburn with Grant Park. It’s a way for communities to connect, families to thrive and businesses to flourish. Right now, biking or walking to Grant Park isn’t an option for many members of the community. The Grant Park Trail will make Grant Park safely accessibly to everyone!

Why We Donated

The MoveIt® Companies donated to the Grant Park Trail because we believe in giving back to the communities that have supported us for over 40 years. (Thank you, everyone!) Environmental conservation is one of our top priorities, and we aim to leave a positive impact on the world by putting an eco-friendly emphasis on the way that we do business. The Grant Park Trail will not only provide a fun place for residents and visitors to explore the beauty of Iowa, but it will also create a safe passageway for those looking to travel to Grant Park.
