Supporting Ukraine
MoveIt® stands with our friends and customers connected to Ukraine. To show our support, we donated $5,000 to World Central Kitchen, an organization providing hot meals to those impacted by humanitarian crises. They are currently on the front lines in Ukraine and Poland, making a 100 percent effort to help. We encourage others to join us in supporting this vital cause.
Investing In Communities
MoveIt® actively invests in community groups, causes, and events, creating significant social and environmental impact. Beyond financial contributions, we offer full-time volunteer opportunities for our employees, ensuring they feel connected to the communities they serve.
Community Support
As a good corporate citizen, MoveIt® supports local schools, libraries, hospitals, and other community organizations. Our long-term strategy empowers employees through meaningful work and volunteer opportunities, extending our impact beyond business.
Grant Park Trail
We proudly support the Grant Park Trail project, connecting Auburn with Grant Park. MoveIt® contributed $10,000 to this project and continues to support it through volunteer efforts, aligning with our mission to foster community connections and promote environmental sustainability.
Commitment to Youth
Breda Day Care Center
In 1992, MoveIt® helped establish the Breda Day Care Center, a non-profit providing licensed childcare for employees and local families. This initiative supports employee work-life balance and contributes to our community’s well-being.
4-H
MoveIt® is a loyal supporter of 4-H and Girl Scouts, empowering young people through leadership, citizenship, and life skills. Our contributions provide opportunities for growth, exploration, and success.
Girl Scouts of America
With an annual donation to the local chapter and a variety of donations to ongoing projects, MoveIt® supports the Girl Scouts of America and their dedication to giving young women the opportunity to grow and explore.
Health and Wellness
American Cancer Society - Relay for Life
Since 1994, MoveIt® has sponsored a Relay for Life team, raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Our efforts became deeply personal after losing two coworkers to cancer. We continue to support healthcare initiatives that align with our values.
Employee Wellness Programs
At MoveIt®, we believe a supportive work environment leads to happier, healthier employees. Our Wellness Group promotes exercise, nutritional guidance, low-cost health screenings, and access to an onsite fitness center, supporting employees to work effectively while maintaining balance. We also invest in software development tools that improve productivity and well-being.
Environmental Stewardship
MoveIt® prioritizes environmental sustainability, from supporting local conservation projects to building a sustainable office. Our paperless initiative, launched in 2005, reduced paper usage by over 60 percent. We also support organizations like the Raccoon River Watershed Association, protecting air and water quality.
In 2012 as part of the Black Hawk Lake Protection Association, MoveIt® purchased the land around our headquarters to make a wetland area that filters runoff from the farmland that surrounds our building. The result is a cleaner, healthier and more natural environment!
Our paperless initiative started in June of 2005. MoveIt® developed a paperless initiative to reduce paper usage. Steps of planning included the development of an electronic order system, use of a document scanning system and digital filing system. By March 2010, overall paper usage was reduced by more than 60 percent.
Raccoon River Watershed Association
Air and water quality are very important to us and the principal members of MoveIt® are active in the RRWA, a group committed to improving the water quality of the Raccoon River Watershed.
Pheasants Forever
Pheasants Forever is dedicated to the conservation of pheasants, quail and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs.
Ducks Unlimited
MoveIt® supports Ducks Unlimited, the world leader in wetlands and waterfowl conservation. Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
Iowa Environmental Council
The Iowa Environmental Council educates, advocates and builds coalitions to raise awareness, generate action and impact policy to make Iowa a better place to live, work and explore.
