MoveIt® Rebranding is Complete

Formerly operating as Computer Transportation Services, Ltd. and CTS Air Services, Inc., the MoveIt® Companies name change is complete.

The companies have the same ownership and employees, but have changed their brand to better reflect their service offerings.

New Name for a New Era

“The new names are a logical progression in our evolving service offerings,” said Todd Partridge, Vice President of Operations for the MoveIt® companies. “In 30 years, we’ve grown beyond our initial focus of shipping for the computer marketplace. We still specialize in items that require special handling, but offer more than just shipping.”

According to Partridge the new companies offer a wider variety of logistics related solutions, including; distribution, inventory management, reverse logistics and project management, for industries like high-tech, medical, financial, food services, online auctions and asset recovery.

“The rebranding really was driven by our customers, many of whom were beginning to refer to us as MoveIt®, because of our web site,” said Partridge. “MoveIt® Specialized Logistics will handle sensitive commodities that require special handling, like inside pickups and deliveries and blanket-wrap, white glove transportation.

Maintaining Familiar Services

MoveIt® Freight Solutions will focus on more traditional freight services, like LTL trucking, air freight and ocean freight,” he added. Both companies will work with a shared network of 22 regional distribution facilities and more than 500 service partners.

The rebranding initiative will be seamless to customers. All contact information, procedures and processes will remain the same.
